June’s Monthly Menu (2015 Version)

I know I'm a little bit behind on the times this week.  I wanted to have this posted last week, but things didn't quite work out the way I wanted them to work out.  Regardless, I wanted you to check out the June menu anyway.  If some of the recipes sound like something you'd like to try, just let me know and I'll send you the link!  (Eventually, I'd like to link directly from my page, but I'm not quite at that point yet.)  Enjoy! Work-in-Progress Wednesday: Printable Scripture Cards

Last week I started working on a project that I think you will really enjoy.  I was looking for a way that I could carry around some of my favorite Bible verses with me so that I can refer to them when I really need them (and eventually memorize them).  I did find some I liked, but I also wanted something a little more extensive.  I did find one idea on Pinterest that I really liked: after you print out the cards, punch holes in them, place them on a key ring (or book ring), and attach them to your purse.…

Granted, that job isn't necessarily full time. I've spent some time here and there over the past few months trying to figure out how I'm going to keep the kids busy over the summer like an American whitewater expedition or something alike, and I think (at least for now!) I have a pretty good handle on how things are going to go. We are looking to sort out piano lessons soon too, as we've heard there are…

Work in Progress Wednesday: Monthly Menu Planning

I was so excited this morning to find out that we have food money.  I don't think I've ever been so excited about something so seemingly small, but we've really been struggling, and I am so thankful that we can finally put food on the table without worrying about eating the same thing every day or if there will be enough for all of us. I was so excited, in fact, I wasted no time in setting up our menu for the next month.  The money will last us about a month, so I planned from today's date for about…
