Goal Setting: Week of February 7, 2016

Week in Review | Making the Most BlogWell this week was somewhat of a distracting week.  Our family was in a tough spot since we had to put our dog down, and we made the decision to move forward to finding a new puppy.  I realize some may reject the idea of getting  a new puppy right away, but we felt it was the right decision for our family at this point in our lives.  But I digress.

Needless to say, I puppy-proofed (or at least attempted to!) on Wednesday during my normal work hours, and that little puppy face was just so difficult to resist on Thursday that I had difficulty concentrating on my usual work.  Surprisingly though I got some things done, and hopefully I’ll be a little bit more focused next week.

So, without further ado, here’s how I did.

Spiritual:

  • Devotions (5/7)
  • Designated prayer time (1/7)

Mental:

  • Journal (1/7)
  • Read 7 chapters
  • Finish 2 cross stitch colors

Physical:

  • Drink soda only 2 days
  • 6 c. of water daily (3/7)
  • Exercise (3/7)

Relationships:

  • Devotions with Prince Charming (1/7)
  • Devotions with Babies (1/7)
  • Plan February’s date with Prince Charming
  • Spend time with Princess Anna
  • Spend time with Rapunzel
  • Send 1 personal note
  • Plan next month’s hospitality date

Career:

  • Blog 3 days (MTM)
  • Use Wednesday as a business day to recap January

Should Do:

  • Cut coupons
  • Ironing
  • Dust bathrooms
  • Sweep bathroom floors

Here are my goals for the upcoming week:

Spiritual:

  • Journal (1/7)
  • Finish reading The Problem of Pain by C.S. Lewis
  • Finish 1 cross stitch colors

Physical:

  • Drink soda only 2 days
  • 6 c. of water daily (3/7)
  • Exercise (3/7)

Relationships:

  • Devotions with Prince Charming (1/7)
  • Devotions with Babies (1/7)
  • Plan February’s date with Prince Charming
  • Spend time with Princess Anna
  • Spend time with Rapunzel
  • Send 1 personal note
  • Plan next month’s hospitality date
