On Books and End-of-the-School-Year and Things to Look Forward to

Wow!  This past week and a half has been such a whirlwind of phone calls and status updates and excitement about my book Courageous: Living the Fearless Life God Intended, which was released on Amazon on April 29, 2016.

For the most part, Courageous has remained on the “Hot New Releases” list under Amazon’s Christian Personal Growth category, and I am so excited to end up on this “Hot New Releases” list, which currently houses Joyce Meyer, Joel Osteen, Ruth Soukup, Jennifer Dukes Lee, T.D. Jakes, and Lee Strobel, among others.

I’ve been trying my best to keep functioning normally around the house despite all of the excitement, but I have to say it’s been difficult.  lol.

On Monday, I got my first paperback copy of the book:

Whitney L. Wagner | Courageous: Living the Fearless Life God Intended

And then on Tuesday, I got my first hardback copy of the book:

Whitney L. Wagner | Courageous: Living the Fearless Life God Intended

So far, Courageous is available on the publisher’s website, Amazon, Amazon Kindle, Barnes & Noble (including Nook), and Books-a-Million (Hardcover/Paperback).  I have received three 5-star ratings, along with three awesome reviews so far.  You can check them out on the Amazon listing.  I hope if you have picked up the book that you will not just read it but share the message.  I’d also LOVE if you would take the time to review the book on Amazon (honest reviews only!).

Beyond that, we’ve just been going at the daily grind, taking kids to and from all sorts of practices and games and classes.  Plus end-of-year activities are coming up (like field trips!), so soon I’ll be able to share all the fun that goes along with that.

Here are some more things to look foward to:

  • My goal here at Making the Most is to post some more of the day to day stuff.  I know some bloggers don’t do much of that, but really it’s who I am, and when I’m excited about things going on around home I love to share that.  Not to mention it means I’ll show up here more often.
  • Not only can you look forward to more day-to-day normal person things but you can also keep an eye out for the summer calendar, which will hopefully be coming out soon!  I’m just waiting on one or two more things, and then it will be ready.
  • Events and book signings!  Whenever I find out where I’ll be signing, speaking, or just having an event, I’ll let you know!  Keep an eye on my social media channels and my speaking page for details as they come.

Sooo…all-in-all things have been going pretty well, and I just want to say THANK YOU! to everyone who has purchased the book, who has read the book, and who has been sharing my posts.  Your support and encouragement mean the world to me.

Question of the day: have you read the book yet?
