Well we’re back again for another week.  I hope you all out there had a wonderful and relaxing holiday weekend and that you were able to celebrate and remember those who went before us to preserve our freedom.

I had hoped to post yesterday, but I had a plethora of things to do.  As any mother knows, a “day off” really isn’t a day off.  Monday is laundry day here, so I had at least four loads of laundry to take care of as well as the usual meal making and cleaning up, dishes, etc.  Plus whatever the family wanted to do, as it was a day off for the kids.

I feel like I really am just still recuperating from the week prior when I went on field trips with the kids and had numerous appointments.  And as I was sitting here thinking about posting, I was wondering why I bother trying to recuperate at all.  After all, a new schedule will hit me mid next week, and I’ll have to adjust to something new.

I am so looking forward to summer vacation though.  (At least I think I am!  Ha!)  It makes me a little nervous to have the kids at home with me all day, but as you’ve seen I do have high hopes and am excited to jump into it.  I’m also thinking about a couple of day trips but haven’t decided yet.

Looking ahead to this week, I’ll be posting a follow up to my DIY Raised Garden Beds post tomorrow and follow up with our June monthly menu on Thursday.  Not sure about anything yet for Friday, and Saturday you can expect a goal review.

Looking forward to being back again tomorrow!
